Having worked in Financial Services for well over twenty years - initially providing protection, retirement and investment advice, at various stages, to clients of Building Societies, Chartered Accountants and latterly a large Solicitors practise - I have spent the past seven years assisting individuals with solutions to their debt problems. I am a licensed debt adviser and provide professional debt counselling and debt adjustment services on a commercial basis in conjunction with a national network of licensed debt advisers. I am a member of the Association of Professional Debt Solution Intermediaries (APDSI) and adhere to their Code of Conduct.

Providing debt solutions advice has undoubtedly been the most personally rewarding experience - particularly as most of my clients have originated as word-of-mouth recommendations to my services from existing clients – proof indeed that the advice and service is highly regarded and valued by individuals who found themselves in difficult and worrying circumstances and often thought there was no light at the end of the tunnel.

I work with a number of professional intermediaries, including Accountants, Mortgage Brokers, Residential Letting Agents, Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) and Solicitors, who regularly introduce their clients to me for assistance and advice.

Discretion, confidentiality and bespoke, professional advice from an experienced debt solutions adviser are necessary for a large number of people in these times of recession, where circumstances beyond the control of the individual can often lead personal finances to spiral out of control. I can provide both face-to-face or telephone support, though my experience is that a meeting at a time to suit the client will produce the best quality statement-of-affairs and detailed picture of the client’s circumstances.

Having completed a statement-of-affairs, I am able to determine the most appropriate financial and debt solutions to meet client’s short-term and long-term needs. I am able to refer to a panel of leading providers for both Financial Services and Debt Solutions, who are members of the Debt Management Standards Association (DEMSA), the Debt Resolution Forum (DRF) or the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA).
